Jesse Fallis

Jesse Fallis is dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of veterans and first responders through Heroes First Mental Health. With a profound understanding of the unique challenges faced by those who serve and sacrifice for others, Jesse is committed to helping clients navigate life’s complexities and rediscover their sense of purpose and fulfillment.

As a former Marine with an Honorable Discharge, Jesse has firsthand experience of the weight of duty and the toll it can take on mental health. Drawing from a diverse background in education, pharmaceutical technology, and mental health, Jesse provides unwavering support and guidance tailored to each individual’s needs.

In addition to expertise in counseling, Jesse is a certified Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, and Fitness Coach, recognizing the vital connection between physical and mental well-being. Whether clients are managing PTSD, transitioning to civilian life, or seeking a safe and supportive space to share their experiences, Jesse is dedicated to offering personalized care.

Heroes First Mental Health ensures convenience and privacy by conducting all sessions online through telehealth. Under Jesse’s leadership, the organization focuses on reducing anxiety, strengthening coping mechanisms, and improving overall quality of life for veterans and first responders.

Outside of professional work, Jesse cherishes spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors. Valuing self-care and balance, Jesse brings these principles into every aspect of life and practice.

James Burgos

MA, NCC, LPC-S

James Burgos is dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of veterans and first responders through Heroes First Mental Health. With decades of experience in both military service and mental health care, James is committed to helping others navigate challenges, find strength, and reclaim their sense of purpose.

As a Retired Air Force Veteran with over 20 years of honorable service, James has firsthand knowledge of the unique demands and sacrifices that come with a life of duty. After retiring, he dedicated another two decades to serving the State of Louisiana in various impactful roles, including probation officer, counselor with the Department of Corrections, and Assistant Warden overseeing medical and mental health services. These experiences have shaped his compassionate and insightful approach to care.

James is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), mentoring aspiring counselors as they work toward licensure. His expertise includes reintegration, motivational therapy, counseling men, and substance abuse recovery. He is passionate about providing tailored support to empower clients to overcome obstacles and achieve personal growth.
